| Science Applications International Corporation’s (SAIC) Pasadena, CA office is looking for an Environmental Coordinator to work on waste prevention and recycling programs out of our Pasedena, CA office.
This position would market recycling development programs as well as energy-efficiency consulting, and sustainability in the Los Angeles county area. The responsibilities would also include working on other compliance activities as needed. This exciting position offers a very unique career opportunity for a dynamic person with strong data skills, outreach, sales, communication and organizational skills to work on leading edge sustainability projects within a creative team environment. The candidate may also work on other environmental compliance projects including air monitoring or environmental audits.
Job Responsibilities Include: Working with clients to identify and implement sustainability, recycling, and waste prevention opportunities; performing recycling market development research and analysis; and working on compliance, sustainability energy efficiency and conservation, and recycling activities as project manager.
The position is based out of the Pasadena, California office.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, earth science, geology, hydrogeology, engineering, or other relevant field, with 1+ years of relevant experience. College coursework may be accepted in lieu of experience.
Required Skills: The ability to work creatively and proactively as a member of a team is very important. Excellent quantitative, writing, communication, and presentation skills are also highly valued. Candidate must be available to travel periodically to perform work and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
